Why do we as Designers use a grid?

Using a grid as an underlying structure to page layouts is a way to unify a page, and still make it interesting by using other elements (font size, font type, color, graphics, etc.) The grid helps a designer organize the elements of the page; the organization helps the viewer clearly understand what is being represented.

Nice profile...I like the background image and your use of font colors.

I found a lot of those same links too. Good stuff.

I like your grid design links. I thought they were useful, I didn't know there was a website were you could create your own grid with specific measurements.
